HOW TO MEASURE FOR WALLPAPER
TO FIND THE CORRECT AMOUNT OF PAPER OR PAINT WE MUST FIND THE SQUARE FOOTAGE OF A ROOM
Measure the perimeter of your room
Multiply that figure by the height
Deduct double doors but don't forget the wall above them, Do not deduct windows unless they are floor to ceiling
With allowing for enough wallpaper you won't have to "piece"
Multiplying width by height gives you the square footage
Example a room 10' X 10' with 8' ceilings would be
10 + 10 + 10 + 10 or 40 X 8 = 320 square feet
Give that number to your sales person, they will order the correct amount of wallpaper
